Han Dynasty tombs display a devotion to family.

As in earlier periods, caring for ancestors was important to people during the Han Dynasty (206 BC–AD 220). Tombs were well stocked with ceramic servants, pots for food, and other objects that were aimed at a common goal:  to provide all the comforts of life in the afterlife.
